Language of Economics
This first entry is something special to me. It’s something I consider quite valuable to share with everyone else out there.
It’s a conceptual model that actually became an important inflection point in how I perceive general reality.
A perception altering framework, and it goes as follows.
Economics isn’t just numbers and markets, it’s actual mythology. We are taught to believe that the language of economics equals solving problems; and maybe it did at some point in time, but in this day an age, it’s not the entire truth.
It presents itself as rational and scientific, but at its core, it’s a belief system. What I want to start calling out as you read this is, that there’s underneath the performative “we’re here to solve real problems” an often a more primal drive:
Conversion, assimilation, profit. “Adding value” is the moral deodorant for extraction.
And profit, in a world of diminishing returns and saturated attention, must become psychological extraction.
We’ve ritualized this via business models that don’t scale actual wisdom, only virality and margin.
So instead of solving actual root problems, say, the loneliness epidemic, the food system, soil collapse, and many more; we offer subscription plans, dopamine loops, and AI-generated “life hacks.”
Death Spiral & Spiritual Blindness
I think I may call it the Kali Yuga. Others might say late-stage capitalism, Nietzsche’s nihilism, or the VUCA era.
But the essence is the same all across the board:
Spiritual vacuum + technological acceleration = systemic dissonance.
The paradox?
People do intuit the world is misaligned, but they lack the lens and conceptual frameworks to name it, much less reprogram it, and actually change it.
So we keep iterating the same doomed solutions: optimize, scale, monetize.
It’s so developed and tuned right now, that even our healing is productized.
Even any type of resistance gets absorbed and sold back to the consumer.
Inflation & The Illusion of Safety
We have a global root issue. Money has become the firewall, and we have the vast majority of the population operating under the same principle:
Get enough money so collective problems don’t apply to me. Basically bypass them entirely and getting rid of collective responsibility. Look at the extreme of the spectrum. Billionaires literally building doomsday bunkers.
The worse part is that it’s not just for comfort, but for existential immunity.
But here’s the core contradiction:
If wealth is your safety, and money itself is unstable (due to inflation, debt spirals, devaluation), then absolutely everyone is running up a melting escalator. And at the top of that escalator?
Central banks and trillion-dollar entities just keep printing. And this way, it’s how we no longer have economics — we have monetary theology.
AI Gold Rush & Fractal Growth
There’s something fundamental that even some of the smartest minds in the planet are missing. AI isn’t the solution, it’s just an amplifier for what’s already there.
If your base system is rotten, AI accelerates the rot. If it’s sacred and sane, AI could catalyze healing.
But so far, it’s being funneled into the same economic scripts:
- Replace humans.
- Compress time.
- Generate noise.
- Squeeze margins.
Incrementalism becomes a treadmill that feeds on its own soul.
And guess what? This isn’t sustainable. What comes after the next billion ChatGPT plugins or Claude Code tools?
A breakthrough in quantum technology might delay the crash. But it won’t fix the why behind the crash.
That “why” is metaphysical, not computational.
Planetary PvP: Invisible Warfare
The planet is basically on PvP mode and they don’t even realize it. For those of you who didn’t grow up as gamers, it simply means “player-versus-player”. In other words, you, versus me.
And the worst part? Most players (humans) think they’re in co-op.
Quick note: please be smart enough to not take this as a simple binary statement. There’s nuance; community and team work still exists. We’ve always had it, but it has eroded significantly due to the industrial revolution to the point it has barely survived, but it’s still out there.
Anyways, the real PvP I’m talking about isn’t guns. It’s:
- Attention harvesting
- Currency manipulation
- Memetic warfare
- Narrative suppression
- Supply chain chokeholds
- Spiritual exhaustion
And unfortunately, most humans aren’t fluent in the real language of economics. And this ignorance is completely intentional and by design. Without knowledge of the real language of economics, you cannot escape the system.
Because that language has been intentionally obfuscated.
Just like the Church once hoarded Latin. Now the economic priesthood hoards financial literacy and geopolitical strategy.
Where I May Be Missing Context
-
Parallel economies are emerging. There are localist, regenerative, and even spiritually-anchored efforts underway. They’re just too quiet to see from within the noise. And it’s also simultaneously a survival mechanism. They’re not scaling fast, but they may be seeding resilience.
-
Collapse isn’t linear or total. We will most likely enter a long phase of partial unraveling, instead of immediate collapse — digital feudalism, controlled chaos, fragmented stability zones. Total wipeouts are quite rare; splintering is more common.
-
Even parasites don’t kill their host. If the elite truly understood the endgame, they’d redesign faster. Some are already hedging (bunkers, off-grid compounds, decentralization bets). That signals they know, even if the public (you and me, reader) doesn’t.
So What’s Left?
If we’re really in the death spiral, and the AI rush accelerates it, what are the counter-moves?
- Reclaim narrative literacy: decode propaganda, understand economic myths.
- Seed parallel systems: land, trust networks, non-coercive tech, spiritual alignment.
- Deprogram the addiction to scale: maybe some of the best work never needs to go viral.
- Transmute fear into foresight: recognize collapse as compost, not apocalypse. Arguably the most important one out of them all.
Synthesis
This is a spiritual crisis cloaked in economic code.
I end this entry with one question, can we remember what it means to be human before the last echo of the system drowns that signal out?
